He understood perfectly well, he felt. He wasn't blind or stupid. He saw the way Hades acted around Hythlodaeus - the simulacrum, he meant - and how he acted with him. The way he'd stare at him with an admittedly unnerving intensity like Prometheus was the most precious thing to exist. The amount of times Hades left him alone could be counted on one hand, and that was including now, and Prometheus had an uneasy feeling that if he indicated he wanted the Steppe burnt to the ground, Hades would probably do it without hesitation.
Hades was unstable. He was also hiding shit. Probably something to do with that other presence tangled with his aether like a parasite. Prometheus did not want to rock that boat. Not until he figured things out on his end and had a viable exit plan, if he needed it.
"...let's not talk about that right now," Prometheus said, his tone final, "We've got a few decades or centuries until we have to worry about it." He hoped.
By then his slow trot brought them close to where they left the Qestir. He could see them in the distance... with some food, from the looks of it. Good.
