You had spent... well, not quite ten thousand years in the Underworld, after all,” Hades said, slowly coming out of his stupor to realize that Prometheus was not angry with him. His crying stopped then, and he wiped his tears with his thumb as anxiety welled in his chest.

“So... you aren’t still angry with me?” Hades asked, assertively just slipping under Prometheus’ wing to warm himself and to just make as much physical contact as he could. He was nervous touching Prometheus’ soul, tainted as he was. What would he think?

He pressed his cheek against Prometheus’ massive head, just enjoying his hot breath.
