Seriously, it was bizarre when Aza looked back at who he was, and who he was now. Five years ago he wouldn't have even contemplated being in a committed relationship, if only because five years ago he'd constantly been overshadowed by a disgusting fear of being vulnerable and keeping anyone who wasn't family arm's length apart. He still got flashes of that from time to time, but it was... easier? Yeah, easier to deal with now, and the trust he had in Aymeric was both scary and liberating.
